transpixel Advertisement announcing the establishment of June's beauty shop business. June worked at this business in Red Wing while her mother and two sisters stayed at the Bundy farm. Dated at 1932 by memory of Mary Hundeby. Could have been as late as 1935 when the Bundy farm property was settled, and June received $500 which she used to buy her own beautician business. Mr. Brill is the one who "converted" June to her very strong brand of Catholicism, according to Mary Hundeby. June first had this beauty shop in downtown Red Wing on 3rd Street, right above where Menne's Jewelry was at one time. Later, she established her beauty salon on the second floor of her house at 819 Bush Street. (Original: Mary Hundeby) transpixel
